Powerful storage solution

RS4017xs + is an extremely high-performance and reliable storage solution that provides more than 240,079 random read IOPS and 6,221 MB per second continuous read throughput. DDR4 ECC UDIMM and 10GbE connectivity ensure data accuracy and performance in mission-critical environments.

Efficient scalability and reliability

After connecting RS4017xs + to two Synology Expansion Units RX1217 or RX1217RP1, this can further expand its storage capacity without interrupting service, bringing the total number of hard drives to 40.

Certified storage virtualization solutions

Synology iSCSI storage fully supports most virtual solutions, and a simple management interface can improve work efficiency. The integration of VMware vSphere 6 and VAAI helps offload storage operations and optimize computing efficiency. Windows Offloaded Data Transfer (ODX) can greatly improve the data transfer and migration rate. Synology NAS supports OpenStack Cinder and can be used as a block storage component.
